Public ward meetings about the draft budget and Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for the 2024/25 financial year are held until 25 April 2024.
Overstrand Executive Mayor, Dr Annelie Rabie, encouraged residents and stakeholder groups to attend the meetings.
“The public ward meetings are an opportunity for residents to give input and ask questions about the municipality’s draft IDP and Budget,” she said.
The remaining meetings, which start at 18:00, will take place as follows:
Ward 1 – Stanford, Thembelihle:
18 April 2024 – Community Hall, Stanford
Ward 2 – Gansbaai North-East, Masakhane:
17 April 2024 – Community Hall, Masakhane
Ward 3 – Hermanus, Voëlklip and a portion of Westcliff (properties east of De Goede Street ie Oncology Unit):
9 April 2024 – Municipal Auditorium, Hermanus
Ward 4 – Mount Pleasant, Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and a portion Westcliff (properties west of De Goede St ie Huis Lettie Theron):
11 April 2024 – Moffat Hall, Mount Pleasant
